Hongdae as many people knows is a place where youngsters hangs around and find entertainment here. There's a lot of small shops selling clothes, accessories, food, snacks etc. There's also themed cafes, coffee cafes and noraebang (karaoke) as well. At night there will be more stalls setting up at the location where cars park their vehicles in the day. The streets behind the main street has a lot of clubs which we didn't explore much.

Hello Kitty café!! didn't plan this in the itinerary but since we came across this so we might as well enter. The reviews for hello kitty café wasn't that good, not sure if its for the other outlet but this outlet was quite ok, other than the fact that the food takes quite sometime to be prepared. It's a total HK place inside where you see pink, pink and more pink. A lot of hk related items is on display.

We didn't get a very nice seat because the "good" corners are all taken up. There's not much crowd but the tables were either not cleared or cleaned. The return tray station is dirty and stacked with rubbish as well. It wasn't a pleasant sight inside such a cute café lol. But the food is really delicious and cute! Even thou it's cold, I still chose cold drinks. The chocolate banana waffle I ordered is nice but the toast Bel ordered is nicer!!! Really try it sometime :)

Of course our main purpose to drop in Hongdae was for its Noraebang. I read through a few reviews and saw that Su Noraebang is good so I went to try it out. Although our Korean understanding is not that bad, (Bel's is the best out of us 3) we didn't manage to catch what the staff at the counter said. We sat at the garden while waiting for our number to be called lol. New experience to us, the kbox here doesn't operate like that ~ The staff who ushered us to our room is nicer and taught us how to use the controller, thou I already researched on it hehe. We sang mostly DBSK songs~

 After Noraebang, we wanted to find a dog café which Gladys? or Bel has researched. But despite walking in Hongdae for many rounds and searching the address one by one, we didn't find it in the end. When we asked around, it seems like no one is aware of this café, so we concluded it probably closed down or shifted away. In the end we went back to the cat café beside the hello kitty café. It's a really nice small café and the cats inside are sooooooo adorable!!

 By the time we reached the café, it's already quite late and the cats are mostly crowded together sleeping. The café was nicely designed with cat friendly toys and boxes. It's located upstairs so the view from the balcony is nice. The cats are all fluffy and the staffs/owners managing there are quite young.

 The drinks that are included in the "entrance" charges, which is about 8000won. You can stay in the café for as long as you like~ I had hot chocolate for my drink and it's really just nice.

When we went, the café there was quite empty, the 2 other girls who were in the café when we came left shortly after we settled down. The 2 girls in the picture above is the staff there, just petting the cats and chatting. Life's relaxed and cool there. I can sit there whole day ~

 The only cat who bothered to play with us, haha. I know unlike dogs, cats are more interdependent and prefer to stay alone lol. This cat stayed in my lap for a long time before shifting to Gladys' and Bel's lap. It's such a pretty girl isn't it ~

After a fruitful and enjoyed rest at the cat café, we went back on Hongdae streets and hunt for the trickeye museum! There's a ice museum exhibition together with the trickeye museum at the time we went.

  Of course there's the wing design here. You can find a lot of wing design in Korea for you to take photo with. No idea why they like it so much there but I like it a lot too~! Lets be that angel.

It's really quite nice inside thou not up to my expectation haha. Maybe I expected a bigger exhibition. There was quite alot of people inside the exhibition and freezing coldddddddddddd. The photos taken are satisfactory ~ We crawled in the igloo and took photo too. But since it's unglam, I won't upload the photo lol.

Next! The trickeye museum. Since it was quite late at night when we finished the tour at the ice museum, so most of the time we are the only customer inside the museum. It was cool without having to wait for backgrounds to take photo with. Just let me collect my ticket first...

We took a lot of photos inside the museum, but since it was quite late, I think i'm the only one who is enjoying lol. We haven't had dinner at that time. At the end of the exhibition, there's actually an area of mirrors that you have to pass through. I nearly cursed there because it was so dizzy and dark. scary :/

 We went to Gangnam area after that to search for Bum's Story, a Japanese restaurant opened by Jaejoong and Yoochun. A pity that I never had the chance to try Yoochun's Timeout Gelato.. When you walked in the restaurant, there's already a few Jaejoong and Yoochun standees greeting you. The staffs there are really handsome too, hehe. We ordered quite a few dishes.

The polaroid board! Luckily we brought out the polaroid camera I borrowed from Evon daily so we didn't miss this chance of pinning our photo in the restaurant! The staff is nice enough to provide us flower pins and markers. It was quite weird for us to stand at the counter and thinking what to write on the polaroid. Lucky for us, there's not many customers at that time. We cab home after eating because it was quite late. No luck meeting any idols );
